Hello all of you out there! Its now 2009 and our program is back in full swing. School started back up last Monday on the 5th. The above video is the first video I have tried to post, just trying to change it up a bit.
We had quite the busy first week to say the least. That’s one of the big differences between undergrad and grad classes, grad classes start by hitting the ground running. In undergrad, the first class was really a joke. The syllabus was handed out and reviewed, attendance was taken and after about 15 minutes the class was ended. In graduate school, the professor requires that students read on average at least 2 chapters before the first class session and many professors open up the first class with a quiz. Every grad class, including the first one, last four every minute of 4 hours. There are no cancelled classes, no foggy day schedules and no “dead days” without class. It is definitely what you would call, “The Next Level”.
This session of classes are the first group of classes that I got to pick my professors and the times of my classes. My classes this session consist of:
Marketing with Dr. Carol Gwin
Macroeconomics with Dr. Shane Moshiri
Multinational Accounting with Dr. Chuck McPeak
Financial Management with Dr. Agus Harjoto
I’ll keep you updated with my progress in each individual class. This session I decided to take all of my classes with my friend Mark Cathy. Mark as you might remember was the topic of one of my blogs from last session. I’m thinking that having a friend go through everything with me will allow me to have additional help when things start to get rough.
Well we’re back at it... and here we go again!!!
